The fee for Daniel Sturridge has been set by a tribunal. The young city player of 2009 has been valued at an initial fee of £3.5m, which could rise to £6.5m depending on international appearance and first team appearances. City will also get 15% of any sell on fee if Sturridge leaves Chelsea.
This is not a bad arrangement. City had wanted somewhere in the region of £10m, and Chelsea had offered about £3m. With Sturridge likely to get a slice of first team football this month with Drogba at the ACN, the first of these slices of the additional money could be soon coming.
